Sell Lab Manuals -

In a few universities, IEEE branches
have been able to sell the lab manuals required by courses/lab sessions.
Through the use of printing companies outside of the university, branches put
a small profit margin above printing costs. Ironically, this price can
sometimes be cheaper to the students than having them printed at the university
bookstore.

Sell Food & Drinks -

If allowable by your department, have
a refrigerator/lockable cabinet (if necessary) to sell cookies, chips, sodas,
water, etc to engineering students. You might be able to sell slices of pizza
to students during the approximate lunch hour.

Website Sponsorship -

You can create a section on your
website that you can honor alumni, faculty, and members of industry. Simply
put a price on that honor. Ask for $10-35/year to post their name/job
title/company name on your website.

Tour/Events -

For those students who do not become
IEEE members, you can ask them to pay a small fee for IEEE events like tours

SPAC/SPAV -

You can hold a Student Professional Awareness Conference (SPAC) or Student Professional Awareness Venture (SPAV). Check in the SPAC section for more details.
