The relation between the students from universities and the industrial companies is not well established yet. Because of this problem, most of the students do not know so much thing about companies, and companies cannot present themselves to students well. Since there is a big disconnection between them, IEEE Student Branch SNIST Career and Internship Committee aims for being a connection between students and industry. While providing needs and interests of students about their career plans, we also have to consider the needs of the companies.
IEEE Student BranchSNIST Career and Internship Committee organizes career development and company presentation seminars for students to get an idea for their individual career planning and internship opportunities. Our committee also provides chance for students to contact with companies. IEEE Student Branch SNIST creates an online list which also includes Curriculum Vitae of students every year for some industrial companies.
Our committee organizes some activities such as Career Forum and career development seminars. Especially, Career Forum is an important organization for both students and companies. While the organization, companies present themselves and show the opportunities which are provided by them. Also these companies talk about their criteria to help students. These criteria advices help students to improve themselves for companies needs before graduation. Also students can ask their individual questions to companies at their stands and have a chance to be on the list of our online Curriculum Vitae list database. At the end of the organization, we share the list with the companies.
Besides, community is wide open to new ideas and activities on career and Internship.
Internship and career Program which aims at finding and allocating the qualified human resources to the right internship positions in industry by using the powerful international student network of IEEE and its close relations with industry. Besides, it is the most effective target-matching internship program worldwide. In this way, the industrial companies will satisfy their expectations of qualified intern students whereas students will have the chance to improve their career in the direction of their interests and qualifications. Nowadays, lots of student have a chance of transmission of their CVs to well known companies such as Intel, Microsoft, Google, Vodafone and more…
