IEEE SNIST

Even though IEEE is meant for technical activities, we the IEEE-SNIST student members don't leave stones unturned to help people socially too. The environmental program in September 2009, in which all our IEEE Student Members started campaigning and spreading awareness among the students, about our atmosphere getting adversely affected, planting more trees, saving water and electricity and also keeping our homes and college premises clean, is a paradigm of our indigenous activity of helping people socially. The campaign was a success in and around the college, making a remarkable impact and received a lot of appreciation from the college authorities and professors. .

REGULAR SESSIONS

Apart from the above activities, we the IEEE-SNIST student members effectively organize the regular sessions every week, on Fridays. Each session comprises a technical and non-technical part. Technical part focuses on the recent technical advancements wherein students can present a technical paper or can be in a form of a gadget review too. The non-technical part of a session is focused on the all around development of a student. It deals with the personality development of one and all. As a part of this, we conduct Group Discussions, Debates, JAMs, Quizzes, Extempore s among others. Students
