The basic aim and objective of establishing Institute of Industrial Electronics Engineering is to equip 40 trained practical-oriented graduate students per year to face the challenges posed due to automation of plants in industrial sector and to train them in practical-oriented engineering discipline of Industrial Electronics, with the following objectives:

1. To lay the foundation for development and generation of technical manpower and know-how in the field of Industrial Electronics.

2. Maintenance and repair of industrial equipment, instruments belonging to public and private sector organizations.

3. Quality control in production of the electronics components, devices, equipment and systems.

4. Design, development and small scale production of electronic equipment and systems.
