Volunteered Leadership
IEEE is an international organization that runs mainly by volunteer works, all officers, counselors, mentors, committees, and teams are volunteers!
If you want to share us our success or you have any idea that can make a difference, please don't hesitate to tell us/contact us.
The key to running a successful Student Branch is
in the administration.
Enthusiasm and energy alone are not enough.
What is required is a team effort where everyone contributes
equally. There are
several key positions in our branch administration.
They consist of the Branch Officers (Chair, Vice-Chair,
Treasurer, Secretary), the Branch Counselor (or Faculty Advisor), a
Branch Mentor, and the sub-committee Chairs.
While each has somewhat different duties,
it is important that you work together as a team.
All officers should promote the
benefits of IEEE membership to fellow students.

IEEE-HU Operating Committees
1. Computer Committee
The computer committee is the first committee that has been formed in the IEEE-HU by the initiative of Mahmoud Al-Shattel/Secretary. The main role of the Computer Committee is to design the website and
the forum and keep them up-to-date, also design "Excited Videos" that we need to show at events, preparing the certificates,
announcements and more..

2. Elections Committee
The Elections committee is the committee which will supervise and organize the branch elections, it is appointed by the ExCom and approved by the counselor.
3. WIE Affinity Group
IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) is the largest international professional organization dedicated to promoting women engineers and scientists, in our branch (IEEE-HU) it is the largest technical group, leaded by WIE-Chairperson and WIE-Vice-Chairperson.
