who we are

IEEE is the world's largest technical society, bringing members access to the industry's most essential technical information, networking opportunities, career development tools, and many other exclusive benefits.

Our mission & Objectives

We provide the IEEE members at The Hashemite University (HU) with the most demanded skills and "languages" they need after graduation; whatever their trends are; career or academic path. Also we motivate them to use what they learn in Engineering Faculty by encouraging them to participate in our courses, activities and contests.>>read more

Social Activities, are one of our strategic goals, we bring IEEE members together to communicate, exchange experience, build friendship and have fun.

Volunteers

Our student branch is managed and operated by voluntary students; mainly by an elected Executive Committee (ExCom). In addition,  we have a special stature for female volunteers; usually through the affinity group called Women in Engineering (WIE). Also, we have many operating committees, such as Computer Committee, Planning Committee, and Elections Committee.

  • Do you have the passion to volunteer in IEEE?

  • What's your benefit from being volunteer with such a huge institute?
