Tech Outreach Activity: Late Breaking Research
The goal of this NEW track is to open up IEEE TechSym 2014 to a broader audience of scientists and engineers and to encourage cross-fertilization at cutting edge of late breaking technological innovations. Its scope is complementary to the regular track with the dual aim of:
(b) promoting the transfer of advanced knowledge to the practice of engineering.
Only short 1-page paper submissions will be considered and accepted submissions will be presented as posters, but will be neither published in the conference proceedings nor in IEEE Xplore. The 1-page papers would be archived only on the symposium website.
Manuscript preparation and submission
Manuscripts are to be prepared according to IEEE two-column TEMPLATE. All final manuscript should have only 1 page including figures, tables and references. Submissions are handled electronically via the conference management portal.
Visit CMT for manuscript submission.
Symposium policy
Accepted papers MUST be presented by one of the authors in person, at the symposium, and according to the final schedule. Any paper accepted into the technical program but not presented on-site will be withdrawn and you will be considered a no-show.
The presenter MUST register for the conference by the author registration deadline. Failure to register before this deadline will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the conference program. An individual can be first author of at most two paper submissions. There is no limit on individuals being co-authors of paper submissions.
