The 2016 IEEE Dallas Circuits and Systems Conference is proud to present its first DIY Contest and is jointly sponsored by Texas Instruments.

It is recommended that the submissions be tailored towards the broad field of Internet-of-Things. Specific emphasis on low-power and energy

harvesting, semi-autonomous systems, and ambient intelligence will be appreciated.

ELIGIBILITY

• The contest is open to undergraduate/graduate students and high-school students.
• Each team can comprise a maximum of ten students, all of whom must be officially enrolled as students of an academic institution.

HOW TO ENTER

• Foremost, please register at the IEEE Dallas Circuits and Systems Conference registration site as a DIY participant. A registration fee is required for each entry.
• Second, register your submission at dcas2016.devpost.com, with the title of your entry and the team members. The site will serve as a means of pre-evaluating your submission, prior to the live event on Oct 9, 2016.

RULES

• Each team can have no more than ten members.
• A team can submit a maximum of three entries; however each entry will require a separate registration fee of $100.
• The registration fee covers the participation of three students. Other team members can attend the event at the regular student registration rate of $50 per person.
