Information for Sponsors and Exhibitors
The 2012 IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS 2012) is inviting sponsors and exhibitors to reserve space at the Hotel Tivoli Marina Vilamoura in Vilamoura, Algarve, Portugal.
Exhibition registration is now open until July 21, 2012.
Background of the conference
The IEEE/RSJ International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems is one of the premier international conferences in the area of intelligent robotics. IROS attracts top researchers from many countries to present their original results every year, as well as students, developers, and entrepreneurs looking to catch up on the latest developments in robotics. The venue this year is Vilamoura, Algarve, at what was an ancient Roman fishing town and is now one of the largest touristic complexes in Europe.
Benefits of sponsors and exhibitors
- Exposure to a world‐class audience. We expect attendance to be at least 1,200 registrants from Universities, Research Institutes and Companies from all over the World;
- Opportunity to showcase your products, publications, and organization. There will be a large exhibit space in the Tivoli Marina Vilamoura, next to the multimedia presentations of the conference. Conference attendees will be attracted to exhibitions and robotics demonstrations throughout the course of the conference;

Levels of participation
Sponsorships are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There are four levels of participation for sponsors, each of which includes an exhibit space and complimentary registration. In addition, sponsors may choose additional items listed below.
Platinum [$15,000]

Gold [$10,000]
- Double size booth (6m x 3m);
- Industrial forum representation;
- Sponsors and Exhibitors link and logo;
- Marketing materials in conference packets;
- Mentioned in press release;
- 2 Complimentary registrations.
Silver [$6,000]
- Single size exhibit booth;
- Industrial forum representation;
- Sponsors and Exhibitors link and logo;
- Complimentary registration.
Exhibitor [$3,000]
- Single size exhibit booth (3m x 3m);
- Sponsors and Exhibitors link and logo.
In addition to physical booths, IROS 2012 will host a virtual portal. This portal enables even larger audiences to visit booths remotely, interact with exhibitors, download company brochures, and product info.
Additional sponsorships
All sponsors and exhibitors can choose additional items:
- Banquet sponsor [$3,000]: Company logo will appear on all dinner location signage;
- Lunch sponsor [$1,000 per day]: Company logo will appear on all lunchroom signage;
- Coffee break sponsor [$1,000 per day]: Company logo will appear on all coffee break signage.
Schedule
- Deadline for guaranteed reservations: June 1;
- Setup: Sunday Oct 7, 1pm‐5pm; Monday, Oct 8, 9am‐noon;
- Exhibition: Monday, Oct 8, 2pm ‐ Thursday Oct 11 noon;
- Breakdown: Thursday Oct 11 afternoon.
