Travelling to Latrobe City
Your journey to Latrobe City takes just 90 minutes from Melbourne.  Latrobe City is easily accessible via its well serviced rail or roads making your journey here a safe and hassle free one.

From Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine):
By Skybus: Skybus offers a convenient and frequent transport service between Melbourne Tullamarine Airport and Southern Cross railway station at centre of Melbourne. More information about Skybus service and timetable can be found here.

By Taxi to Melbourne CBD: Taxis are on standby at Melbourne Airport and takes approximately 25 minutes.
By Car:   Following City Link (electronic tollway) will bring you towards Melbourne's south eastern suburbs and the M1 Freeway.  Follow signpost to M1 Freeway, South Eastern suburbs and Warragul as above directions from Melbourne.  IMPORTANT: To travel on the City Link tollway, you will need to purchase a pass (if you do not have an E-Tag).  Find out more information or purchase a City Link Pass or phone 13 26 29.

GETTING TO LATROBE CITY 

From Melbourne:  The distance from Melbourne central to the conference venue is about 160 km. Easy 2 hour  drive along the M1 Freeway following the signs to Warragul.  Continue past Warragul, Yarragon and Trafalgar and you will reach Moe, the first town within Latrobe City.  Approximately 15 minutes’ drive further down the M1 is Morwell, past Morwell for another 10 minutes’ drive will bring you into Traralgon.  No turn off here is necessary as the highway goes through the town.

By Rail:
Rail services run every hour between Melbourne in the west and Traralgon in the east. V/Line rail services offer visitors to the area a comfortable and direct journey along its well serviced routes from Melbourne departing Southern Cross Station in Melbourne's CBD.

You would need to get off in Morwell station and take a Latrobe City bus or Taxi to the conference venue in Churchill.

By Car:
Continue past Warragul, Yarragon and Trafalgar and you will reach Moe, the first town within Latrobe City.  Further along the Freeway, approximately 15 minutes’ drive is Morwell, the centre of Latrobe City's three major towns.  Churchill campus of Federation University Australia (the conference venue) is sign-posted after Morwell exit. It is about 10 minutes off the Highway.

 GETTING AROUND LATROBE CITY
Latrobe City has four major towns in Moe, Morwell, Churchill and Traralgon.  Each of these cities are linked through strong combination of rail and bus connections.

Moe, Morwell and Traralgon are situated on the Gippsland Rail Corridor and services run between the towns on an hourly basis.
