ICUAS 2020 will be a hybrid conference.

We strongly recommend physical presence and physical paper presentations – Greece remains safe and the hotel follows all safety protocols.

ICUAS 2020 allows for virtual paper presentations. Even if you physically attend ICUAS, you may still upload your paper video presentation. Thus:

  1. A paper can be presented physically;
  2. A paper can be presented simply by playing the recorded and uploaded video;
  3. A paper can be presented virtually-live via zoom by the presenter.

Step-by-step instructions for video presentation and release form upload

Authors have received two separate requests, one for the video presentation, and another for a release form.

The corresponding/designated author needs to upload both by August 10, 11:59 PM, PST – this is the absolute firm deadline, no extensions.

i. VIDEO of your presentation. The file must be a video file in mp4 format (technical specs below).

  • Duration: 18 minutes
  • File size limit: 100MB file
  • File format: mp4
  • Minimum height: 480 pixels
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9

Please note the above specifications will be checked at the time of submission and files not meeting them will be prevented from being uploaded. Except for the above duration and digital constraints, the form of the presentation is left free (though please be sure the video includes the title of the paper, the authors, and a mention to ICUAS 2020).

(Note that only mp4 video is supported – please do not try to upload PowerPoint or PDF files. If you use PowerPoint, you need to convert presentation to video before uploading.)

ii. RELEASE FORM which grants us the permission to host the presentation video on line to be accessed by virtual conference attendees, together with other requirements from the IEEE as stipulated in the release form.

The release form can be downloaded here (PRF.doc).

If the release form is not uploaded together with the presentation video, the presentation will not be hosted in the online proceedings.
