Late-Breaking Reports

Important Dates:

  • 8 December 2014: Submission of late breaking reports
  • 23 December 2014: Notification of late breaking reports acceptance
  • 3 January 2015: Final camera-ready late breaking reports due
  • 2 – 5 March 2015: Main Conference

The Late-Breaking Reports (LBR) session is a venue for early stage research results, as compared to the full-paper track of the conference. LBR submissions will follow the same guidelines as the full papers, using the same MS Word and LaTeX2e templates, using Option 2, but will be limited to two pages. Make sure to use the template version with the permission block, conference location, and copyright line. In contrast to full papers, please do not anonymize the Late-Breaking Reports. Accepted Late-Breaking Reports will be published in the “extended abstracts” of the conference (a companion publication to the “main proceedings” of the conference), archived in the ACM Digital Library, and be presented at a poster session during HRI 2015 (Note: this has changed from previous years). Authors of accepted Late-Breaking Reports will retain the copyright for their work. Please submit the required documents through the submission and review website by December 08, 2014, 11:59 pm PST.

Authors should note that there will not be an additional camera-ready stage for the Late-Breaking Reports, and submitted abstracts will be considered final and ready for inclusion in the “extended abstracts” proceedings and the ACM Digital Library (Note: this has also changed from previous years). For questions, please contact Late-Breaking Reports co-chairs Manja Lohse and Guy Hoffman at latebreakingreports15@humanrobotinteraction.org.

Poster Format for Late Breaking Reports:

All posters should be A0 format or 36″ x 48″ in portrait format. If you have any questions on the format please contact the Late Breaking Reports Chairs at:  latebreakingreports15@humanrobotinteraction.org.
