Social Events IVEC 2020

IVEC 2020 is not only about science and technology or research papers, but also about meeting friends, contemporaries, colleagues, would be colleagues, future employees and employers, and, of course, competitors. We have two separate events during the conference as part of our social program.

IVEC 2020 Welcome Reception

Get an early start to the conference by meeting with friends and colleagues at the IVEC 2020 Welcome Reception. Complete registration and enjoy beverages and light snacks in the San Carlos Ballroom Foyer at the Monterey Marriott Conference Center.

IVEC 2020 Networking Dinner

Date: Wednesday 4/22/2020

Time: 7:00 – 10:00 PM, Buses Leave Marriott Hotel at 6:30 PM

This year’s IVEC conference dinner will take place at Folktale Winery and Vineyards, located along the Carmel River in a premier winemaking area of California. Enjoy a buffet dinner and wine tastings in an idyllic wine garden in the company of friends and colleagues.

The first event of the evening is the presentation of the Student Paper Award. Afterwards, enjoy food and drink in an outdoor setting overlooked by Folktale Winery’s fairytale-style chateau.

Tickets to the dinner at Folktale Winery are available to IVEC registrants. Extra tickets for companions can be purchased from the registration desk on a first come, first served basis.
