BUCURESTI HENRI COANDA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (OTP):
The Henri Coanda airport is
located just north of Bucharest and being well linked with major European
hubs. Currently the airport has one terminal divided into three halls
(sometimes referred as distinct terminals) (International Departures
Hall, International Arrivals Hall and the Domestic Flights Hall - at
the ground level of the Arrivals Hall). The International Departures
Hall consists of 36 check-in desks, one finger with 10 gates (5
equipped with jetways), while the Domestic Hall has an extra four
busgates. |

BUCURESTI BANEASA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (BBU) is located in Băneasa district. Starting January 2007 many other European low fare airlines (BlueAir, Sky Europe, Wizz Air, Germanwings) have started new routes from Bucharest BBU to popular European destinations. |

Bucharest is the major hub of CFR (Caile Ferate Romane),
Romania national rail carrier. The main central station is Gara de
Nord (North Station in translation) which serves Bucharest with
connections to every part of Romania as well as international
connections with Vienna, Prague, Budapest, Sofia, Belgrade, Chisinau etc. |

The
city is a major road hub as well. It is the starting point of many of
Romanian highways (well, right now - summer of 2008 - it is the
starting point of both of Romanian highways, A1 and A2) and other
European and national roads linking the city with every Romanian region
as well as with the neighbouring countries. |
