We invite proposals for tutorials addressing a track and related areas, to be given online as a part of INDICON 2021 on December 19, 2021. Tutorials may address one or more Tracks, but they should be organised under a unified theme. A tutorial should be of interest to a wide INDICON audience, provides a basic introduction to the area including its theoretical and practical implications, and covers recent advances on the chosen subject. [Presentations that focus exclusively on the presenter's own work or commercial demonstrations are strongly discouraged.]
Tutorials lecturers are offered a token honorarium and free registration.
Tutorials are of half-day duration, and they will be held on 19 Dec, 2021, the first day of the conference.
A proposal should not exceed four pages, including the presenters' biographies. Please include the following information in the proposal:
A title and an abstract suitable for web publicity.
An overview of the topic, including its relevance and significance to the community.
Pointers to relevant past work, tutorials, and existing teaching materials.
Target audience.
An outline of the tutorial structure, with time allocation and distribution of work (in the case of multiple presenters).
Type of support materials to be supplied to attendees.
An academic bio for each presenter.
Detailed contact information of all presenters (and indication of the main contact person).
Tutorials will be evaluated according to the following criteria:
