Shipping / customs

All demonstration hardware and exhibits coming from outside of Canada must be cleared by the Canada Boarder Services Agency (CMBSA) upon entry. Conference participants are free to make their own shipping and customs arrangements, or to use the official conference customs broker.

If you would like assistance bringing your goods into Canada

North American Logistics Services Inc. is the official customs broker and freight services provider for the conference. They can provide customs clearance services, as well as door-to-door shipping. See this flyer for details:

If you are making your own shipping arrangements

The 2012 Haptics Symposium has received special recognition from CBSA, allowing conference participants to import demonstration hardware duty free. To take advantage of this privilege, we recommend that you contact Mark Fowler at North American Logistics. Even if you are not using North American Logistics' services, they will be able to provide you with the customs clearance instructions that you will need for your shipment.
