Local sights and dining

Vancouver is a vibrant city, loaded with restaurants (ranging from haute cuisine to great diners), galleries, theatre and sports venues. For example, if you have a couple of free hours, give this a try: the Vancouver Art Gallery's current exhibit "BEAT NATION: art, hip hop and aboriginal culture", just a few blocks from the conference hotel.
