Advance Registration

Before you start the registration, please make sure that your credit card is open to allow payments in Singapore Dollar – SGD. Accepted credit cards include Visa and MasterCard only. All fees listed on this page are in Singapore Dollars. Prevailing goods and services tax (GST) of 7% will apply to individuals, corporations and business in Singapore and individuals (and groups) who are not represented by any overseas corporation or businesses.

Advance registration is now closed. Please proceed onsite from May 28, 2017 to register.

The onsite registration counters are located at Level 4. Payment in cash or credit card (Visa/Master) accepted.

Workshop/tutorial fees listed are for access to workshops and tutorials on both days, and includes lunch and coffee breaks.

Note:

  1. Social Events refer to the Welcome Reception (May 29), Conference Dinner (May 31) and Farewell Reception (June 1).

  2. Breaks refer to lunch and coffee breaks for May 30 to June 1.

  3. Paper/Poster Upload: In order to submit the final paper or video submission, at least one of the authors has to register in advance (see above). Authors registered as ‘student’ are allowed to upload 1 contribution. With a non-student registration, up to 2 contributions can be uploaded. 
    Six pages including figures in standard IEEE conference paper format are allowed for each paper. You can purchase a maximum of two additional pages for each contribution at an extra fee of SGD 220 per page.

  4. IEEE Life Member (as defined by IEEE): In order to get an approval as a life member to upload any contributions, please contact the registration office first via registration@icra2017.org.

  5. IEEE Student Member: In order to register as a student, select the appropriate student registration category during the online registration and have a softcopy of any of the following documents ready for upload:

    • copy of your enrolment
    • copy of your student card
    • official letter from your institution (in English)
    (Accepted file size and formats: less than 2MB; PDF, DOC, DOCX, RTF, JPG/JPEG, PNG or GIF)

  6. 1-day passes are valid only on Conference days (May 30 to June 1), and can only be purchased onsite.

  7. Exhibitor (Team Competition): Participants who are only attending ICRA 2017 for the Robot Challenges may register under this category.

  8. If you wish to attend the main conference as well as the workshops/tutorials, you will need to register for both. Access to the main conference and workshops/tutorials will be strictly controlled and only delegates with valid badges/passes will be allowed entry to the respective areas.

Conference Proceedings

Early and advance registrants for ICRA (before May 15, 2017) in the standard and student registration categories will receive a free 7-inch tablet containing the conference proceedings and conference app as part of the registration package.

This is the first time that ICRA attempts to innovate on the distribution of conference proceedings and conference program to delegates. There will be NO USB proceedings nor printed conference program digest book given to registered delegates. The conference digest book and paper proceedings will be pre-installed in the tablet. The conference app also has a cloud-based web portal for information distribution and sharing.

Details on collection and use of the tablet will be included in the reminder email to ICRA registrants in May 2017.

Tablets for onsite registrants are subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel any registration, with the exception of a registration that was used to submit a final paper/poster upload, on or before April 15, 2017. The cancellation fee is SGD 300. No requests for cancellations will be accepted after April 15, 2017. All refunds will be processed after the conference.
