Electrical outlets and voltage

Singapore uses a Type G plug (3 pins, 13A, 220 - 240V) mainly used in the UK, Ireland, Malta, Malaysia and Singapore. For more information, please refer to this page: www.worldstandards.eu/electricity/plugs-and-sockets

Singapore does not have a tipping culture and most hotels and restaurants already impose a 10% service charge. Even if you receive excellent service, a tip is not expected, but would be appreciated.
