Abstract

Soft robotics is an emerging sector in robotics industries emphasising innovation on flexible materials, which resemble physical characteristics of living organisms, focusing on the design, control and fabrication of robotics solutions. The scope of soft robotics is enormous in many applications such as medical and surgical, wearable and rehabilitation, soft reconfigurable gripping and finger actuator, Human-AI interaction, inspection, inventory and logistics, cleaning, education, etc. The industry panel session at RoboSoft 2023 introduces experts from various robotics domains, including soft robotics. It is an interactive session with the audience/researchers. The industry speakers will share their innovative robotics product portfolio, the impact of soft robotics specific to their industry, future scopes and challenges, etc. This panel session will foster the academy-industry research collaborations for future products in the soft robotics realm.
