Women in Soft Robotics Panel

Abstract
Soft Robotics is an interdisciplinary subject that draws on knowledge and expertise from various fields, including mechanics, material science, electronics, computer science, and others. Despite the increasing interest and participation of women researchers in Soft Robotics, there remains a significant gender gap, as is often the case in STEM fields. To address this issue, RoboSoft 2023 is taking a unique approach by inviting male and female panelists from diverse backgrounds and positions to discuss and explore solutions to this issue. The Women in Soft Robotics Panel at RoboSoft 2023 is committed to promoting diversity and inclusivity in the field and providing networking and support opportunities for female researchers.
