Paper Management System

All papers have to be submitted via Microsoft's Academic Conference Management Service (CMT). The paper submission for SSRR2014 will be enabled on June 10, 2014.

New CMT users who are Authors can create a CMT account using the "New Users? Sign up here" Wizard from CMT Conference main page. If you try to create an account with your name and email address and the system reports, "Unable to create User. The E-mail address is already registered in the system", see the information below:

• The email address has already been used. Your email address was most likely used by a co-Author who added you to the conference when submitting a paper.
• To use the new account created for you, go to the conference main login page and click on "Forgot your password? Reset here". A link to reset your password and instructions will be sent to your email address.
• Click on the link and follow instructions to login using the new password. Note: Password reset function will send you an email with a link. Click on the link, do not reply to the email. If you do not recieve the email, check your "junk" email folder or verify you are looking for the email that you used when resetting password.

Submit a Manuscript for Review

Papers may be accepted either for oral presentation or for poster presentation. All accepted papers will be published in the proceedings. The main difference is how they are presented at the symposium.

Submit a Camera-ready Paper (until Sep. 30)

Make registration and get ID issued by Nippon Travel Co.

When you submit a camera-ready paper in Microsoft CMT, you are asked to enter registration ID which is issued by Nippon Travel Agency Co. Please visit SSRR 2014 registration page.

No page numbers

Camera-ready papers should NOT have page numbers. All numbering will be done by the publisher.

PDF file name

Please use "SSRR2014_full_XXX.pdf" for regular papers, "SSRR2014_proj_XXX.pdf" for center/project/visioning papers, and "SSRR2014_LBR_XXX.pdf" for late breaking reports, where XXX is the paper number assigned to your submission by CMT (e.g.: "SSRR2014_full_038.pdf").

Check your camera-ready paper with the IEEE PDF eXpress

Camera-ready papers must be in PDF format and have passed through the IEEE PDF eXpress to ensure compliance to the IEEE Xplore format. Please go to the IEEE PDF eXpress site at https://www.pdf-express.org/ and open an account by following the link "New Users - Click Here". You will need the Conference ID which is "33318X". Then submit your paper(s), to get feedback about their compliance with IEEE Xplore. If not compliant, address the comments on the feedback, and retry until you have produced compliant documents. It is important to note that submitting a file to IEEE PDF eXpress in only for creation of a compliant PDF file, you must still submit your final paper through online submission.

The IEEE copyright form

The IEEE copyright form should be submitted electronically in the CMT system. There is a link "Submit IEEE Copyright Form" in the Camera-Ready column in the CMT system. Please follow the step-by-step instructions there and submit your copyright form electronically. This will take you to the IEEE eCopyright submission site. Once you have submitted the form electronically there, please remember to download the pdf generated by the IEEE office as a receipt for your submission and click Return to return to the CMT website. Finally, please upload this pdf receipt to the CMT system using the upload copyright form option in the CMT interface, which completes your submission of the copyright form. This is required for all accepted papers in order for them to be included in the proceedings and the IEEE Xplore website. If you have troubles of submitting the copyright forms using this service, please do not hesitate to contact the proceedings chairs.

At least one author per paper must register for the symposium, for the paper to be included in the proceedings.

Papers which are not presented by any author at the symposium will be removed from the proceedings in IEEE Xplore.
