Frequently Asked Questions about the conference and papers

  1. Who do I contact to get an OFFICIAL ACCEPTANCE LETTER for the VTC SP02 conference so I can apply for a visa in my country?

  2. What is the maximum page limit on papers?
    There is a 5 page MAXIMUM paper limit on both poster and oral papers that are produced for publication in the proceedings. Both must abide by the same guidelines of the author's kit. There is no provision for overpages. The 5 page limit is hard.
  3. Where do I put my biographical information in the paper?
    Authors are asked NOT to put any biographical information into the actual papers to be published in the proceedings. Only author affiliation information may appear after their names.
  4. How do I figure out from my session code when and where I am giving my talk/poster presentation?
    The following legend can be used to determine which track and session your talk or poster will be presented.   These codes correspond to the Sessions at a Glance found listed by day under the program page on this website.   For example, with TU34.1:
    • TU - the day (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
    • 3 - the session (1 - first, 2 - second, 3 - third, 4 - fourth)
    • 4 - the track (1 through 7 across)
    • 1 - the paper sequence number (1st, 2nd, 3rd, ... )
  5. What are the guidelines for preparing my accepted paper for the conference record?
