In Cooperation with:

The New Green Vault (Museum of treasure art) and the Residential Castle

The second day in Dresden should be dominated by Dresden's famous museums.
Strolling alongside the world-renowned Semper Opera House crossing the Theatre Square you will reach the Residential Castle with the Green Vault.
The New Green Vault is one of the most magnificent museums of treasures in Europe and exhibits more than 1.000 masterpieces of gold, silver, enamel, gems, ivory and other fascinating objects. With the rebuilding of the Residential Castle the Green Vault came back to its original location. You will see several main works of the collection, amongst them the Golden Coffee Service of Dinglinger, the Royal Household of the Grand Mogul, the exceptionally precious green diamond, the cherry stone with its 185 carved faces and the precious collection of the Saxon electors and kings. After the guided tour you may continue your visit of the Residential Castle individually.
The ticket also includes the entry into all other museums in the Residential Castle, like the Turkish Chamber, the Armory, the Copper Engraving Cabinet (collection of prints, drawings and photographs) as well as the gallery of princess (except the historical Green Vault) for that day.
