Steamer trip, Castle Pillnitz and the Saxon Switzerland with 'The Bastei'

Travel upstream the river Elbe by an historic paddle-steamer and enjoy the remarkable scenery of the valley of the river Elbe. You will get to know more about Dresden, its magnificent landscape with the three Elbe palaces (Albrechtsberg, Lingner and Eckberg) and the Blue Wonder Bridge (Blaues Wunder). Arriving at Pillnitz Palace, the summer residence of the Saxon monarchs, you will be guided alongside the unique castle complex (exterior view) and through the park with its orangery, its palm house and the botanical preciosities, such as the 200-year-old camellia.
Afterwards you will go to the Saxon Switzerland by bus. Enjoy a scenic idyllic round trip across the national park Saxon Switzerland with its bizarre rocks. Over there you will visit the famous Bastei and enjoy the magnificent views from the vantage points high above the Elbe valley. Take your lunch in the Panorama Restaurant with a typical Saxon meal. Return to Dresden.
