Financial Support
The organization of ICORR 2007 has a limited budget available for travel awards. These awards will be granted to individuals to support attendance of the conference. Applying for one of the travel awards is open to all. However, given the theme of the conference we would especially welcome (end-)users to the conference.
End user Travel Awards
A limited number of travel awards are also available for consumers of rehabilitation robotics technology (e.g. individuals with neurological disabilities who are not researchers). Individuals need to submit a letter by email describing how they are a consumer of rehabilitation robotics technology and why they wish to attend the conference.
Student Travel Awards
Graduate students and post-doctoral fellows can apply for a limited number of travel awards to help support the cost of attending ICORR 2007. Only students and post-doctoral fellows that submitted a paper for presentation at ICORR 2007 as first author will be considered for travel awards.
We invite those interested to send a e-mail message to the organization containing information on the following topics
- Name
- Address or affiliation
- E- mail address
- Description of involvement in rehabilitation robotics (e.g. user, caregiver, researcher, student)
- Short motivation for requesting support to attend ICORR 2007
- Requested amount (maximum is EUR 500)
Please send your application to: Chair@icorr2007.org
Awardees will be notified in April 2005 and will receive a check for the appropriate amount upon arrival to the conference. Each awardee is still responsible for his/her own registration fee.
