11:30 – 14:00
Please join us for the RTSD Luncheon at the largest aquarium in the Western Hemisphere, housing thousands of aquatic species. Some of the notable animals include beluga whales, whale sharks, sea lions, manta rays and dolphins. The doors open at 11:30 am for the special event, and food/beverages will be served in buffet style at noon. Admission to the RTSD luncheon includes viewing of the beluga whale and whale shark exhibits, plus an option to purchase a general-admission ticket to the aquarium at half price for the remainder of the day. The aquarium is a 10-min walk from the Hyatt Regency, just north of the Centennial Olympic Park and near the Georgia Dome, CNN Center, and Philips Arena. The quickest route from the conference is to walk four blocks along Baker Street. Please use the Oceans Ballroom entrance at the aquarium and once inside, proceed to the Arctic room. Tickets for the luncheon can be obtained during pre-registration for $40 or during on-site registration for $50. Since the event will likely sell-out, purchases during the pre-registration period are encouraged. We hope you can join us!
