Tutorials and Workshops for IEEE CASE 2010 will take place on August 21, 2010. The role of these events is to provide a systematic and in-depth coverage of cutting edge topics of interest to the automation community.

Submission of proposals for tutorials and workshops are invited. Tutorials and workshops typically involve presentations given by experts on the proposed topic for comprehensive and in-depth coverage for a technical audience not necessarily familiar with the topic. Workshops typically involve some audience participation and possibly panel/open discussion. Tutorials and workshops may be either 1/2 day (4 hours, morning or afternoon) or full day (8 hours). The due date for the proposal is 3/1/2010. Notification for acceptance will be sent to the organizers on 3/15/2010. The proposal should contain the following information:

  • Name of the tutorial or workshop
  • Organizer names and affiliations
  • Description of the proposed tutorial or workshop (for both review and publicity purposes)
  • Proposed format
  • Participants (name, affiliations, status -- confirmed or tentative)
