Videos of 1.5 to 3 minutes illustrating new and exciting results are sought for dedicated video sessions for the ICRA 2014 edition. Contributed videos will be peer-reviewed and accepted videos will be presented in video session within the main conference program.
Please, note that these videos will be regarded and reviewed as separate contributed submissions with respect to multimedia attachments to contributed papers. A video submission is expected to be a stand-alone contribution, self-explanatory thanks to a comprehensive narration that makes all the typical aspects of a scientific contribution (background work, materials and methods, results, discussion, conclusions and follow up) available by exploiting a video format instead of a traditional paper format. Creative formats and contributions that can foster scientific dissemination of robotics research are highly encouraged. High-quality, semi-professional video design and production style is expected.

In order to submit a video as well as regular papers to ICRA 2014, please follow the customary electronic submission process via PaperPlaza. Videos should be accompanied by an extended abstract (up to 1 page) in the form of a PDF file and should be submitted via Video session contribution at the PaperPlaza submission site for the conference.
This attachment is mandatory. You may upload the attachment during submission, or do this later by logging in as author for this conference with your PIN and password and following the appropriate link. You may upload or re-upload this attachment until the submission deadline September 15, 2013. The maximal file size is 50 MB.
The contents of the manuscripts should be original and they should not being submitted simultaneously for consideration towards publication in another conference or journal. All submissions will be checked by the iThenticate tool for plagiarism and self-plagiarism. In cases of plagiarism or self-plagiarism all results will be reported to IEEE for further investigation.
