Call for Workshops & Tutorials
 

As with previous IROS conferences, the organizers intend to arrange an extensive program of workshops and tutorials to be held prior to the conference. Proposals that address topics related to the conference theme are welcome.

 
 
 

Workshop and tutorial proposals due: March 7, 2016
Notification of acceptance for workshops and tutorials: April 15, 2016
Workshops and tutorials: October 10 and 14, 2016

 
 
 

We invite proposals for half-day or full-day workshops and tutorials.

Workshops should focus in presenting results and promoting discussion about a well-defined active research area of interest for the robotics community. Tutorials should aim at presenting principles/tools of established fields of research for dissemination purposes to general audiences.

Proposals must be submitted via PaperPlaza and must follow this template. In particular, a proposal should address these points:

- - Type and Duration
- - Title
- - Organizers
- - Objectives
- - List of speakers
- - Intended audience
- - Expected attendance
- - Support/Endorsement
- - Special requests (equipment or other issues)

Upon successful selection of their proposal, the organizers will also be required to provide an abstract and the URL to a website containing any relevant information about the event.
