1. Your Visa
All visitors to Australia must have a valid visa to travel to and enter Australia (other than New Zealand passport holders who will normally be granted a Special Category visa on arrival). The appropriate visa will depend, amongst other things, on your purpose for visiting Australia.

2. Travel Insurance
Travel insurance is a must have before travelling. We suggest that you not only take out travel health insurance in case of illness, but also take out optional extras to cover cancellations, lost luggage, theft, delays etc. Travel Insurance can easily be booked online, or through your travel agent.
3. Flights

4. Accommodation

5. Travel arrangements from the airport to your hotel
Brisbane City is located only 20 minutes from the Domestic & International Airport terminals. To get from the airport to the city why not use Brisbane’s AirTrain Service.

Otherwise the Taxi and Uber services in Brisbane are safe and convenient to use. Both terminals have a dedicated Taxi and Uber pickup area.
6. ICRA2018 Conference Registration
Before you arrive in Brisbane make sure you have successfully registered to attend the Conference. Registering before you arrive will save you time on site at the Conference. If you are pre-registered, when you arrive, all you need to do is visit the registration desk to collect your name tag and delegate materials.

7. Australian Dollars
The currency in Australia is Australian Dollars (AUD). ATM’s are available throughout Brisbane and will recognise cards issued by most banks. VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Diners Club are accepted by most outlets in Brisbane. Currency exchange booths are available in both the domestic and international airport terminals as well as in Brisbane City.
8. Adaptors
The electricity in Australia is 220/2240 volts AC, 50Hz with three-pin plugs. This is Australia wide. Some hotels may provide power adaptors, however on site at the Conference venue no adaptors will be available. So make sure you pack an adaptor so you can charge your phone, laptop etc. during your stay.
