IEEE Spectrum: The Biggest Robotics Research Conference Is Now More Accessible Than Ever
The ICRA 2020 conference, which was about to bring together 4,000 researchers in robotics from around the world in Paris, had to change plans and is held fully online for the very first time. Given the current circumstances, the event has been redesigned as a virtual conference to offer a new experience and evolve the community towards new practices.
The conference will be held from May 31 to June 15 with live events and all recorded content will be available until August 31, 2020. ICRA 2020 will bring together experts in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence who will present technical papers through presentations and online discussions.
More than 4,300 people have already registered in a week! All registered participants will have full access to the debates, including over 1600 cutting edge contributions from around the world and even an online artistic experience! The virtual format will be an opportunity for our community to continue to present its research and collaborate with its peers around the world.
First press conference (by videoconference): June 1 at 4:30 p.m. (CEST)
