Julian Hafner
CV / Former activities
Julian Hafner studied Microsystems Engineering at IMTEK. He was enrolled in the M. Sc. program until 2015.
During his Bachelor program (2009-2012) he was working as a student assistant at the Laboratory for Process Technology, IMTEK.
In the beginning of June 2014 he started working on Vertical Hall Sensors produced in standard CMOS by Micronas Freiburg. His main focus was on the modeling of offset- and sensitivity-behaviour of Fully Symmetric Vertical Hall Sensors (FSVHS). Therefore he developed an numerical and mathematical model of these devices.
Currently he is working for the BrainLinks-BrainTools cluster, where he is looking for an efficient way to wirelessly drive neural probes (implanted in the brain) . Implanted neural probes are used nowadays to treat epilepsy and parkinson and to study neural activities in the brain.
