CV / Former activities
Suleman Ayub graduated with a Bachelors in Mechatronics Engineering from
the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan in 2010. During
this time, he undertook internship programs and workshops to groom his
engineering skills. His areas of interests were embedded systems and electronic
hardware. Afterwards, he was employed at the Centre for Advanced Research in
Engineering in Islamabad until September 2011.
He joined the Master’s program in Microsystems
Engineering in October 2011 at the Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg, and
graduated in December 2013. During his studies, he has been a scientific
assistant in Fraunhofer ISE in Freiburg where he worked on intelligent energy
management systems. His master thesis titled “Development and Characterization
of High Temperature Pressure Sensors” was a part of a research project funded
by the BMBF and Robert Bosch GmbH. In this work, he developed pressure sensors
for operation in high temperatures and investigated the effects of different
packaging schemes on sensor signal.
