CV / Former activities
Dominik Moser was born in Villingen-Schwenningen in 1983. From 2004 to
2009 he studied Microsystems Engineering with a focus on materials and processes at the University of Freiburg. In 2008/2009 he completed an internship at micro resist technology GmbH, Berlin. He finished his studies with a diploma thesis on the application of polyimide membranes for the fabrication of microfluidic neural probes. From 2010 to 2012 Dominik Moser received a scholarship from the German Research Foundation (DFG) in the framework of the research training group "Micro Energy Harvesting" for the development of materials and technologies for thermoelectric energy converters. Since 2012 he is working as a research assistant on thermophysical material characterization for thin films and nanostructures. In 2014 he spent three months at the University of Tokyo, Japan, as a visiting researcher working on surface energy transport.
