Former activities / CV
Christian Goßler received his diploma degree in physics from the University of Regensburg, Germany, in 2010. During his studies, he joined Osram Opto Semiconductors, Regensburg, for an internship on light conversion techniques in solid-state lighting in 2009. He was a scientific collaborator at the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Solid State Physics (IAF) in Freiburg from 2010 to 2014 focusing on GaN-based optoelectronics. In 2014, he joined the Department of Microsystems Technology (IMTEK) of the University of Freiburg, where he received the Dr.-Ing. in microsystems engineering in 2016 for his PhD thesis on the highly parallel wafer-level transfer of III-nitride micro-LEDs on flexible substrates. His major scientific interest is on optical probe development for biomedical applications.
