Gerry Levett emigrated to Canada in 1970, after serving 20 years in the Flying and Engineering branches of the Royal Air Force where he was employed on Navigation and Electronic warfare duties. Since 1970, he has been active in the Canadian and international security electronics arena, initially with the RCMP Criminal Investigation Branch, and then as Director of Telecommunications Electronics with the Correctional Service of Canada. In 1985 he founded G. Levett & Associates, security electronics consultants. The company is located just south of Ottawa, near Spencerville, Ontario, and has provided security consulting and engineering services to Canadian and international government and industrial clients. Gerry has been associated with the Carnahan Conference since 1971.
