Call for Contributions

All papers submitted to IROS 2013 undergo a peer-review process. A manuscript will be reviewed by at least two reviewers, who will give detailed comments and - if the submission gets accepted - the authors submit a revised ("camera-ready") version that takes into account this feedback. The review process is managed by a Conference Editorial Board. Authors should submit their papers electronically in PDF format via PaperPlaza (PaperCept), Conference Management System.

Mar. 22, 2013 Deadline of full paper, tutorial / workshop proposal

Contributed Papers:

Authors should submit their papers electronically in PDF format via PaperPlaza (PaperCept). For the final submission, a manuscript should be of 6 pages, with 2 additional pages allowed but at an extra charge. All papers are reviewed using a single-blind review process. Organized Sessions:

Organized sessions provide a forum for focused discussions on new topics and innovative applications of established approaches. An organized session consists of at least five related papers that must be submitted through the regular review process. See also Organized Sessions.

 

Videos:

Videos of 1.5 to 3 minutes illustrating new and exciting results are sought for dedicated video sessions. Videos should be accompanied by an extended abstract and should be submitted via the PaperPlaza submission site for the conference. See also Video Sessions.

 

Tutorials & Workshops:

Proposals for half-day or full-day tutorials and workshops should include: statement of objectives, intended audience, list of speakers, and list of topics. These should be submitted via the PaperPlaza submission site for the conference. See also Call for Tutorials and Workshops.

 

Exhibits:

There will be areas for exhibitions and robotic competitions at the conference. Further information will be available on the website.
