Travel Supports
IROS2013 is providing a travel support to selected students/authors of papers to be presented at IROS2013. The decisions on assignment of these grants will be coordinated by the Committee.
Travel Supports for IEEE-RAS/RSJ/IEEE-IES/SICE Students
Application: Deadline September 10th (Application is closed).
The travel support up to 100,000 JPY for student attendees of IROS2013 (support fee for each student depends on geographical regions). The funds will also be used to cover student registration fee. To receive the travel supports, the student must report at the conference site, and show his/her passport and airline tickets. The student must certify that the conference registration and that part of travel expenses covered by the received award are not otherwise covered by university, foundation, or industry funds.
- Student Member of the IEEE RAS/IES, RSJ or SICE
- Author of a paper submitted to IROS2013

Note: The nominator should fill in the Student Travel Support Request Form. (a .doc file), including in particular the student's data, the number provided by the PaperCept system to the already submitted paper, and a justification for the request. The paper should not be resubmitted, as it is already in the system. The filled Request Form should be converted to a PDF file and submitted through the conference submission website (PaperCept).
Attention: In the submission website, you have to follow the same steps as to submit a manuscript ("Submit a Contribution to IROS 2013" -> "Student Travel Support")
